This super duper, limited edition release documents our ongoing Heroes and Heretics feature where this time writer and broadcaster David Bramwell focuses on bass-baritone concert artist, actor, professional American football player, and activist Paul Robeson.
In our Cultivated Scripts short story feature, the multi talented Kit Dillon, who has written for Popular Science, The Awl and the New York Times writes a piece based around an abandoned old ‘Model 5009’ radio.
We also visit the Library At The End Of The World, a concept and project from Ben Robinson who invites us to choose printed texts and books that would best serve us when all the screens go dark and the lights finally go out.
The Rich With Ink zine is screenprinted with a laser engraved relief print cover whilst the main front and back covers are screenprinted with a spot varnish. The whole package has been printed and handmade entirely by Neil Corall and DLX ADV at peacock: a workshop for art in Aberdeen.
The album itself features the vocals of some of our favourite voices around, Aurelius Calliste, Wayne Paul and Beth Frost, those of which you may recognise from the first album ‘Calling All Earth’ or their respective projects and collaborations with the likes of Roots Manuva, Lo Tek Hi Fi or Coldcut.
